The PAS (Partidul Aliant,a Socialista( = Socialist Alliance Party) is a
neocommunist party without parliamentary representation, founded in 2003. The
symbol is described in article 2 of the statute [http://www.pasro.ro/pagina.php?Categorie=Statut]:
"Semnul electoral este identic cu semnul permanent si este reprezentat de
soarele stelar simbol al luminii. Are un disc solar, in mijlocul caruia sunt
inscrise initialele partidului - PAS. Discul este incadrat de opt fascicule de
raze grupate cate trei din care o raza principala in mijloc si doua secundare
laterale, distantate in mod egal intre ele."
My translation: The electoral symbol is identical with the permanent symbol and
is represented by a radiant sun, symbol of the light. It has a solar disk, in
the center of which the initials of the party are inscribed - PAS. The disk is
surrounded by eight bundles of ray groups of three, of which the main ray is in
the center and two secondary are lateral, with the same distance between each
other.
The party flag is red with the symbol in yellow colour in the centre [see sources]. There is also a version as table banner. One should be aware that the symbol appears in yellow, and not in white, as a graphic of a waving flag on the website would imply!
